Here's a little peek into how I deliver my wedding couples' finished images! Do you feel like your packaging is lacking? Here are some points to consider when you're wrapping up your next client's order: 

1) LITTLE DETAILS
Now is your chance to complete your client's experience. Take a little extra care in presentation and pay attention to the details. Make even the unwrapping part special with pretty finishing touches like silk ribbons and opaque fabrics. 

2) BE BRANDED
This is another opportunity to brand yourself, so be mindful with your packaging choices.  Does your packaging match up with your shooting style and brand? I use Black River Imaging for all of my packaging cards and stickers. 

3) EDUCATE
How should they care for their prints? Where should they print their digital files? How should they properly store their files? Do you have a product guarantee? I also recently started including a mini pricing menu card to make future ordering easy long after the session.

4) SURPRISE THEM! 
It's a simple step for you to take, but it can go such a long way with your client. I often include small gifts such as a magnet and prints. 

5) ORDER IN BULK
I make one large packaging order per year, during my off season. Before I did this, I found myself re-ordering the same items every month and it became a time sucker. It can be a bit of an expense upfront, but you do save money buying bulk and your time is important too.
